i've been home all week doing nothing but feeding my internet addiction, but i'm taking a little break. i'll be posting sporadically but not everyday until we got settled. we finally got movers lined up. so the next couple weeks will include packing boxes, cleansing our house of things we do not need or use, and going back to work. work = ew.
i don't really do resolutions. my plans with each new year are always the same...get back in shape & don't sweat the small stuff. i would like to get back into painting in a major way this year. i do feel like the new year is a great mental motivator. new beginnings of any kind conjure up a fresh outlook, and a revived effort in accomplishing even the smallest of tasks. hopefully, i can harness that into the organization of pretty much all aspects of my life. i am not organized by nature so it takes major effort. major effort i tell you. perhaps i should subscribe to Real Simple?
new blog.
so like many other bloggers, i was looking back over the past year to see what type of posts i got the most feedback on and how i may improve the blog going forward in 2012.
**the top post of 2011 was this post where i discussed the affluence of many 20something bloggers and that got you girls fired up. i loved it!
look for more candid posts about things we think but don't blog about. i'll also be documenting the joyous task of decorating a new home on the cheap and as a renter. and as always, more fashion, shoes, and dogs.
CHEERS TO YOU & YOURS!

I have a feeling your real simple magazines will just become unorganized themselves.
Wilson is so festive!
happy new year my love, i look forward to the new posts!
I could type how much I agree with each thing you said, one by one, but instead can I just say how much I love that every time I read your blog I realize how similar we are? awesome. happy new year!
Ok really excited to read that post in full - loving what I'm seeing here thus far! But perhaps that's my 30-something talking. ;o)
I wasnt a follower when you posted the affluence blog, but it truly blows me away as well. Mad comments would've been flying from this girl, echoing that sentiment! Love the blog :)
